Family Therapy section

The Family Therapy Section aims to strengthen families as a whole and support each member in achieving a sense of success and satisfaction in peace and harmony, ultimately enriching a society that is in great need.

We are an inclusive platform that welcomes practitioners, therapists, coaches, and educators at all experience levels, as well as anyone interested in contributing to and learning more about the art of relationships. Our focus is on supporting every type of family issue by considering the family as a system composed of individual members. We are aware of the challenges every family faces, including generational, multicultural, ideological, and religious differences and expectations.

Our work includes helping families navigate various domains such as rites of passage, extended family dynamics, migration issues, and family business entrepreneurship (family Business). Our main focus is to strengthen pillars towards family wellbeing: Imagination, Communication, Collaboration, and Spirituality (not necessarily religious). Imagination involves aspiring to build the best possible family relationships, which can become a reality through effective Communication and Cooperation. This is embraced and nurtured by a sense of spirituality, mutual respect, and the capacity to celebrate life.

These key elements help families better handle adversity and conflict, transforming problems into opportunities. This approach leads to successful family wellbeing, where each member and the family as a whole can enjoy life together and contribute to a healthy society for the common good.

We’d like to hear from you about what you’d like to contribute to the group, what you’d like to get from it, and suggestions on how we can better address any type of family needs in our midst.

We define family as a dynamic social unit characterised by diverse compositions and arrangements, where individuals form bonds based on mutual respect, love, and shared values, free from any type of discrimination, including sex or gender. This perspective emphasises the autonomy and agency of individuals within the family, promoting inclusivity, equality, and the recognition of various family forms within and beyond the traditional nuclear model.
