The Role of the Consultant to Organisations with Action Methods. – Workshop

The Role of the Consultant to Organisations with Action Methods.
With Marianne Wiktorin

An interactive investigation of how to ’find, shape and shoulder’ the role of the consultant, understanding the profound differences between therapy groups and organisations and its teams, crucial to consider.
The task of the consultant is to promote change of the NOW to the NEW. Profound change, transformation, is not easily achieved. Transformation of people’s thinking, feelings and actions/behaviors is seldom achieved. Organisations tend to try to change by doing more of the same or less of the same.
Action Methods are excellent tools for long term change/ transformation. Trust building is essential to encourage people to try the unusual. You skillfully ’move’ people- to an AHA-experience. They are moved psysically, visually, cognitively, emotionally resulting in new behaviour and new action – second-order change/ transformation.
Action Methods used are living charts and dynamic interaction. To get a more thorough understanding of how Action Methods are used, please read the Forum article on A Twelve-year Organisational Consultancy to a Health Care Company for a more thorough understanding of Action Methods used in.
