Theseus Labours – The robbers of the Soul

Anastasia Golema is an Actress, Director graduated from the National Theater of Greece, Psychodramatist, Satyananda Yoga Instructor, Transgenerational Therapist, Transpersonal Hypnotherapist, continuing her studies at the Psychology department of the “European University of Cyprus” and the Dramatherapy Institute Aeon. Founder of “Theater Therapy” in Athens, a space dedicated to the research of Theater and Psychodrama. Board member of the International Association of Group Psychotherapy 2022-2025
In this workshop we will use psychodramatic interventions and techniques to observe and learn from our psyche. We will use our imagination and art tools, as storytelling, representation and music, to unfold Theseus story and discover some secrets that lie within us
Participants will learn about Theseus’s adventures and his journey to Athens, to meet his father Aegeus. As they will follow him, they will experience the encounters with the ravaged robbers that appeared on his road, and learn from his tremendous challenges. They will be asked to connect Theseus journey, from Troezen to Athens, with their own journey in life towards their individuation.
