The Education Committee is a development of the IAGP to facilitate visibility and accessibility to group work. IAGP sponsors projects in countries or areas where educational facilities, training and professional Intervision group processes are underprovided, where resources are limited or do not exist.
The EC (Article XI IAGP bylaw) is “an umbrella that supports and insures consistent standards for workshops, projects and actions offered by IAGP in co-operation with local groups, the IAGP Sections, Task Forces or Committees." The EC is responsible for coordinating and developing curricula and appointing the staff team for each project” after previously informing the EMG and/or the IAGP Board .

|HOW MEMBERS CAN BE INVOLVED
Members can participate by sending an e-mail to the Co-Chairs of the Education Committee with their ideas and proposals to the ongoing programs or for new projects.
APPLICATION FOR PARTICIPATION
We are aware that there is considerable experience and knowledge in the practice and teaching of the various theories and techniques on group psychotherapy, group processes and group work within the membership of the IAGP.
We invite you to volunteer your time to get involved as workshop leaders in countries where the group training is limited. An oral knowledge of English is desirable.
The IAGP Board with the local coordinators will reimburse travel expenses, depending on whether the funds are available in the budget. The sponsoring organization will act as host offering accommodation and meals and may offer rates.
